Q: Mormon Missionaries?
I would like to know if the Mormon Church pays you missionaries a salary. I wasn't born yesterday, this world revolves around $$. It doesn't seem reasonable that a young person in thier prime would set aside two years of their own life and pay their own expenses to be a full time missionary, unless there was a handsome paycheck from the church. Also, how many missionaries does your church have out, I see them everywhere!?

A: Completely unpaid. I worked hard for two years in Argentina, in very poor conditions (when you compare to where I live now). I did it for one reason - I know that what I was teaching is true. I know the message that I carried to the people of Argentina is true. If you are ready to hear and accept the truth, I invite you to listen to the missionaries. If you're not ready, don't waste their time.

Q: What his the commission structure for Mormon missionaries?
My little brother is interested in becoming a Mormon missionary but he is not sure of the commission structure. He figures that you would have to deal with a lot of rejection since most people are already members of a church. He has been practicing every day in the mirror though. If you get a base salary plus commission he might want to consider this. I can't find anything on the Internet about this for him though. Any help would be greatly appreciated:) No, we are not Mormon but he thought that being a Mormon Bishop would be a good career and it would give him good moral standing in arguments. He could join. What are the membership fees? What are the education requirements?

A: Being a missionary is one of the highest paying things you can do. You lay up treasure in heaven. Being a Bishop is a great aspiration. The ones I know are richly rewarded by blessings and the love of those in their wards.

Q: What are some cheap meals Mormon missionaries cook for dinner at their apartment?
i have to do an activity this week where me and my quorum cook missionaries meals.

A: Chicken parmesan 2/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning pinch of thyme 1/4 teaspoon pepper 1 teaspoon basil 1 teaspoon oregano 1/4 cup sliced green onions 1 tablespoon margarine 1 tablespoon flour 1/2 cup skim milk 1 bag fresh spinach, chopped 1 tablespoon chopped pimento Combine cheese and seasonings. Roll chicken into this. Place seasoned chicken in a baking dish. Cook onions in margarine until tender, stir in flour, add milk all at once. Cook and stir until bubbly. Stir in spinach and pimento. Spoon spinach mixture over chicken. Sprinkle with remaining cheese mixture. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until tender. Monkey Bread (cakes) 4 cans of (8-10) biscuits 1 tablespoon cinnamon 1 cup sugar nuts or raisins-optional Topping: 1 stick oleo or butter 1 cup brown sugar Mix sugar, cinnamon and nuts. Quarter each biscuit and drop into sugar mixture, coating each piece well. Put biscuit mixture into well-buttered, floured angel food pan. Combine topping ingredients in small sauce pan over low heat. Heat until melted. Pour over top of biscuits. Bake 45 minutes in 350 degree oven. Turn onto platter immediately after removal from oven. ***Bake a little longer (5-10 minutes) for extra crispness. Kids love this dessert and its name.

Q: Mormon Missionaries? whats a nice way to tell them i dont want to meet with them?
i have met with these missionaries for a few weeks now. but i don't think we are on the same page... so how do i ask them not no come by anymore without sounding mean or rude?

A: "Thank you, but It's not for me." is always a good one.. These are 19 year old kids.. There is no reason to be mean spirited. (Directed at some of those who have answered this question...)

Q: Do you think they would agree if I asked two Mormon missionaries and two Jehovahs Witnesses to my house and ?
then ask them to debate with each other which is the true religion to follow? What would be the outcome?

A: The JW won't come to your house unless your interested in joining their cult. The LDS would come to your house and talk to whoever. Out of the 2 cults the LDS is the friendliest. God bless!

Q: How do you convert Mormon Missionaries that are there to convert you to Mormonism ?
so it's fair, and not 1 sided, clearly if they are the only ones trying to convert, then its not a fair and equal conversation.

A: I have always believed that converting someone to anything is only asking people to be followers. And some people obviously may need that. But to truly change somebody, the only way is through example. Jesus, Buddha, Krisna, Mohammad, all spread their message more through action and example than by words. In all cases it was other peoples words that created the religion that followed.

Q: What do you think about a single woman inviting the Mormon missionaries into her home?
I'll just slip on a comfortable robe and do some dusting and house cleaning while they tell me stories about the prophet Joseph Smith and the Book of Mormon. They really seem to enjoy my company because they keep coming back every week.

A: I think misssionary is the only style in which a Mormon can come into a single woman....'s home

Q: do mormon missionaries share everything?
So if you were to be doing illegal stuff and you told the mormon missionaries would they turn you in to legal authorities or keep your secret?

A: I guess that depends on the illegal activities..

Q: How do mormon missionaries (the boys) go for 2 years without sex or masturbating?
I seriously doubt they do. The male body can't go that long without release. I don't believe masturbation is a sin. FYI, mormon missionaries aren't as "pure" as they would want you to think. I actually had a sexual relationship with a guy who was on his "mission" in the town I lived in. I never said I "slept" with him. We didn't have "intercourse". We just fooled around. And his companion was with my best friend.. :p

A: Does it really make a huge difference if you masturbate, or if yo u're dreaming about banging a hot chick and shoot a load in your underwear? Personally, I think the latter makes it much harder to sleep, since you're all gooey.

Q: Mormon girl really like mormon missionaries alumni?
Mormon girl really very like mormon missionaries alumni?why?do you someone know mormon missionaries alumni really waiting missionize end come own home or country by wedding? I say why mormon girl is very mormon missionaries alumni? is come home missionaries ? I say why mormon girl is very LIKE mormon missionaries alumni? is come home missionaries ? Report It

A: I'm not Mormon, but Jewish. However, I do believe that many devout Mormon girls do like men who've gone on their mission because that shows how dedicated the young man is to his faith. Those young women will wait quite happily for the man to finish his mission and come home. (I've known and heard of several who've done just that.) Keep in mind that not every woman is that way, but if going on your mission is very important to you would you really want a young lady as a wife who wasn't willing to support you in doing things that are very important to you? Of course, that's a two way street. If you have a wife that's that giving, you should also support her just as much in what's important to her! Edit: Your question was a bit difficult to understand, let me see if I can help: "Do Mormon girls really like alumni of the missionary program? Why? Do you know someone who completed their mission, came home to their country and then got married to someone who waited for them to return?" If I'm right, please repost the question as I've rewritten it, you might get more answers.

Q: What is the best way to keep Mormon missionaries away from my children?
There's something sinister about the way they stop by my yard so often and act "friendly" when the kids are out playing. One of them looks just like Deepack Chopra with his devious look--gives me the willies!

A: Well over here most of the kids tell em to F**K off so we don't have that particular problem, have a word and say you don't like them bothering your kids and any further attempts at brain washing will lead to the courts....

Q: Can you feed Mormon missionaries and what do they eat?
Unfortunately, I only have Kosher food products in my home but I always what to offer something to the Mormons missionaries when they stop at my door. Are they permitted to eat something blessed by a Rabbi? I know that it wouldn't be the same as something blessed by a Mormon Priest.

A: Kraft Moroni and Cheese Dinner

Q: How do I go about inviting the mormon missionaries over for dinner?
You kind of have to feel sorry for those poor bastards riding around in 110 degree weather in long pants, shirt and tie. They never seem to come around to our place, for some reason.

A: You ask them if they would like to have dinner. Don't serve anything with caffeine.

Q: What is the best way to present the Gospel to Mormon Missionaries?

A: First say a quick prayer to the Holy Spirit. Then invite them in. Have you bible handy and follow along with their scripture passages. Read the preceeding paragraph and the next paragraph after their verse. Then let the Holy Spirit take over. You won't believe the knowledge and wisdom that will come out of your mouth.

Q: Are mormon missionaries aloud to tell girls that they love her if they do?(in the mission)?
If a mormon missionary fells in love with a girl and stuff... can he tell her that he loves her? or they're not aloud to tell someone: i Love you, while they're in the mission?? and if they do, will they be breaking a rule? THANK YOU! :)

A: Mormon missionaries are not aloud to date while they are on there mission, but there are some that still "date" the gf back home. If they fall in love with a girl on there mission, they are not aloud to even tell them that they want to date them. This happened to my mom and dad. My mom was on a mission and my dad was working at IBM. My mom knew that she wanted to date my dad, so they wrote letters as friends until my mom got off her mission. And they have been married for 22 years now..
