WCAA DART LEAGUE FAQ

How does the WCAA Dart League work?

The WCAA Dart League is comprised of many teams who are sponsored by a "home" bar. A maximum of eight players can be rostered per team, but only six will play on any given night.  Each team will pair up its’ players to challenge the opposing team in three matches (301, (501 or CountUp...depending on the season), and Cricket) and all players of each team will compete in a game of 701-double out. This is a total of 10 games per week. Each player contributes $5 per week to the prize fund which is distributed to all teams at the end of the season based on their win/loss record.

When and where are league matches played?

Once a week (Thursday, 8:00 PM), matches are played at the various sponsored bars.  The bars are all local and accessible by public transportation.

I don't have enough people to form a team. Can I still play?

Absolutely! At the beginning of each season, WCAA Dart League holds a “Kick-off/Registration” party.  Some teams are looking for players during this event. If you come to the kick-off/registration party and identify yourself as someone who is looking to join a team, you will probably be recruited on a team.

How long does a Dart season last?

Each team plays each other once, so the season lasts as many weeks as there are teams. Spring/Summer leagues are usually 10-12 weeks in length. Fall/Winter leagues are usually 20-25 weeks in length.

I can't make it to the Kick-off/Register party; can I still get on a team?

Again....absolutely! If you contact any of the "Dart Board" members, we can match you up with a team captain who is looking for players. Feel free to e-mail us (see “contact info”).
